From the cruise terminal to the city centre
Not metered — agree the fare in US dollars before you set off. Most quote per car, not per person; confirm.
📍 Taxi line just outside the pier gate.
Shared shuttles to West Bay run when ships are in; round-trip tickets are sold at the pier.
📍 Shuttle and tour desks inside the welcome center.
Colectivo minibuses run along the main road — cheap and local but slow, crowded and not built for luggage.
📍 Main road outside the port gate; flag one down.
Small water taxis hop between West End and West Bay — handy once you are already on that side of the island.
📍 Water-taxi dock at West End and West Bay.
Scooters and 4x4s are available; roads are rough and signage is poor, so most cruisers stick to taxis.
📍 Rental desks near the pier and in Coxen Hole.
