Jeongbang Waterfall is one of Seogwipo's three famous waterfalls and arguably its most dramatic — a 23-metre cascade that drops straight into the sea from a volcanic cliff face. The surrounding coastal scenery includes black basalt columns and subtropical vegetation. A short staircase leads down to the viewing platform at the base, where spray from the falls creates rainbows on sunny days.
