Seongsan Ilchulbong is Jeju's most iconic natural landmark — a 182-metre volcanic tuff cone formed by an underwater eruption 5,000 years ago, now part of Jeju's UNESCO World Heritage and Global Geopark designation. The 25-minute hike up stone steps to the crater rim rewards with panoramic views. At the base, visitors can watch the famous Haenyeo women free-divers.
