Leverick Bay is the only part of the North Sound you can reach by road, about twenty-five minutes over the ridge from Spanish Town, and it works as a half-day if you want the sound without the boat logistics. There is a small marina, a hillside restaurant with a wide view over the anchorage, a beach bar at the water, a pool and a dive shop. Friday afternoon brings a jump-up with a live band and a hog roast, which is worth timing a call around if the schedule allows. Lunch runs around twenty to thirty-five US dollars a head and the taxi is the bigger cost.
Getting there from the port
