Chania's Archaeological Museum moved in 2022 to a large, modern building in the Halepa district. It gathers finds from ancient Kydonia and western Crete, including Minoan clay coffins (larnakes), pottery, jewellery and Roman floor mosaics, in bright, well-labelled halls. The new building is step-free and a comfortable indoor stop.
