Sun Messe Nichinan occupies a grassy hilltop overlooking the Pacific, and its centrepiece is a row of seven full-size Moai statues facing the sea. These are the only Moai replicas in the world officially sanctioned by the elders of Easter Island, created as a gesture of gratitude after Japanese engineers helped restore damaged originals on Rapa Nui. Each statue represents a different form of luck — health, love, career, travel, marriage, money, and education. Beyond the Moai, the park has flower gardens, viewpoints, a small insect museum, and a restaurant with ocean views. The hilltop setting provides sweeping coastal panoramas on clear days. Closed Wednesdays.
